Sailing Life Day 23 - Visiting our new Pinoy Friends on their Private Island and Spearfishing today in the Exumas, Bahamas🐟
I actually still have a lot of photos to share from yesterday! I met a group of Filipinos here in Staniel Cay when we attended the Sunday Service at the Church and they invited us to a dinner last night and I even had a lot of “pabaon” of pansit &adobo! ❤️ Really great night full of laughter, food, and positive vibes 🙏
Ate Joy and Ate Ronalyn together with their husbands (Kuya Artem & Kuya Rus) invited us again today to visit the private island where they manage and live for the last 12 years! 🏝 While my new Ate’s went to tour me around the island. Jonathan with our friend, Stuart of S/V Moonshadow was invited by the Kuya’s to go spearfishing! ⛵️🐟
After almost 3 hours they returned with different fish including a red snapper and lobster that we kept for me to cook our dinner on the boat! Kuyas taught Jonathan some techniques on freediving and spearfishing.. really great way for us to be more self-sufficient as we go further on our sailing adventures! ❤️⛵️
Really loving this trip so far esp now that we’ve been meeting incredible people who are treating us like their family! THANK YOU, God! ❤️🙏
