Expat Life in Montenegro Day 429: Sailing in the Boka Bay to Perast and Kotor, Montenegro 😍

The perks of living in Montenegro..yesterday morning, we were still up in the mountains and swimming in the freshwater of Pava Lake then we drove back home to our coastal town for 2 hours.❤️

Our friend (Srdjan) who lives in a village next to us arranged an afternoon/sunset sailing trip on his Uncle’s boat. ⛵️

His uncle got this derelict boat then fixed it himself! They just have to install the mast and it’s all back to being a sailboat! ❤️

Jonathan is already thinking of his winter project - get another old boat and fix it for our day sailing.😛

We sailed in the Boka Bay to Perast and Kotor.. even though we’ve done this plenty of times before, I’ll never get tired enjoying the scenery, breeze and the sunset!

The water is also really warm and refreshing which is just perfect for the weather!! ❤️

What a great day of celebrating my 32nd birthday. I don’t need to travel very far and with the current pandemic situation, you’d mostly see me and Jonathan exploring Montenegro this year on our car and motorbike! 😎❤️⛵️
