Stone House Update - Montenegro Stone House Renovation Journey (Day 191)
Minor things getting fixed at home this week as I’m preparing for Jonathan’s return in less than 2 weeks’ time! ❤️
As you guys know, we live up on the hill so we don’t have a telephone line and even waterline!
We have a huge water tank that collects rainwater and we use a filter system for our everyday use so now they are preparing to clean it!
Which means our only monthly bill is our electricity! Hopefully, we’ll install solar panels in the future so we’ll be a little bit more self-sufficient 😬😛
The Internet is really slow until we found a company that installed a satellite booster dish with the router so we can have decent wifi at home and it’s only 19 Euro per month for unlimited data!! 😬way faster as I can watch Netflix and do my online work better 😛
With the help of my friend (Irena), I also found a cable tv company who installed a satellite dish so we can have Tv channels and we have 140 channels and a lot of them are in English! The last time I had a cable subscription was in 2009! And we’re only going to pay 8 Euros per month! Haha 😬
Definitely feels like a permanent home now.. and I took photos of our second building which is going to be our next project where we’ll be building another loft-style bedroom and converting another family bedroom and laundry area 🙂
But I think the next priority would be our outdoor kitchen, the infinity swimming pool with lounge area then Jonathan’s garden! ❤️
Dreaming for now while we save more money to resume our next projects! 😇😇
