Expat Life in Montenegro Day 561: Jonathan is finally baking 😬
For months, I’ve been wishing that Jonathan would get into baking since he really enjoyed making random things in the kitchen (making sauces, chutney, and anything from his garden!)
Yesterday, he baked his first-ever Carrot cake with honey and orange zest for glazing! Really delicious!! I’m such a very happy wife
We even had a little issue at the beginning because the food weighing scale run out of battery so did a little “Macgyver “ kind of temporary solution! Hahah
To more cakes and bread at home! Yipeee!
What else shall I ask him to bake? If only we have ube flavoring, oh my!!!
P.S. I know some people would say again that I should be the one doing these things but we both realized that I’m not the best person in the kitchen as I’m too messy and not patient so most of my food gets burnt
