My 115th country.. 5 more to go and feeling accomplished for this European trip! 🙏

It’s been a great trip so far but sadly I caught a flu.. it started when I traveled to San Marino when the weather changed to pretty cold and it seems like it worsen when I traveled for 13 hours by an overnight sleeper train from Napoli because of the AC (fun fact: I don’t usually use the AC even in hotels.. the sailing life and living in the Caribbean & Latin America changed my preference! Haha)

So, yesterday when I arrived, I checked it at my hotel in Menton, France which is just a 10 minute car ride (20 minutes by train) away to Monte Carlo! It’s crazy hard to find a hotel there because of the Monaco Yacht Show and all the hotels are triple the price but glad I had a beautiful suite with balcony in Grand Hotel des Ambassadeurs that’s been booked because Agoda gave me a free voucher! Haha 🤪

I changed my clothes and took the train to Monaco and luckily, I met a Venezuelan lady on the train who is traveling with her American husband and attending as an Exhibitioner and she gave me a free pass to the Yacht show! 👍👍 Tell me about being at the right place and time! ❤️ And I also enjoyed the beautiful scenic view of the French Riviera (Cote d Azur / Southern France) 🙏

I went there to look for the latest model of NEEL trimaran that Jonathan wanted to buy next year but it wasn’t there so I just checked out the super luxury yachts that I know I can only experience if we have billionaire friends! hahaha 💋

I continued walking around the town, enjoyed the view point and feeling amazed seeing a lot of luxury cars everywhere (last time I’ve seen one that is pretty common for locals to have is when I was still living in Kuwait!).. well, Monaco is for the rich and famous! It’s great to feel inspired but not really realistic! 😬

I wanted to see more during this day trip but I was too tired so eventually just went to the Tourism office to get an entry souvenir stamp on my passport that I’m in Monaco! 😉

I shall return but most probably when I feel like I belong in that place. Hahaha! Dream big, dude! 😱😍🤗😝
