Expat Life in Montenegro Day 378: Having more and more local friends
I think that moving to Montenegro is one of the best decisions we’ve ever done. Sharing some photos/experiences this week that is not related to our house renovation. 😀😛
I love living here and having more and more local friends and a better social circle is amazing! I go to the gym on an almost daily basis but then the food is good - I still eat a lot. Haha. I hang out at my friend’s salon just to drink tea and talk. Most of the stores are 10 mins. drive from our house including the beach. 😍
I’ve started eating meat again because Jonathan is not here and beef is so cheap and fresh. Organic vegetables and fruits everywhere, most of the houses have their own garden. Seafood is fresh and a lot of choices but Asian food ingredients are limited and crazy expensive. Haha
Yesterday, I had lunch with the two guys who are the reasons why we got to know Montenegro (mostly Herceg Novi) in a different way than the typical tourist when they first invited us in 2017 then 2018 and last year which made is decide to relocate here and ended up buying a house. It’s Pavle and Dalibor of the Herceg Novi Tourist Board - Turistička organizacija Herceg Novi. Thanks as always, guys! 😍
Really great to see them again after the quarantine and can’t wait to announce the next project we’ll be doing together to boost tourism of Herceg Novi (or maybe to encourage you guys to move here and be our neighbors! Haha)! Yay!
