Expat Life in Montenegro Day 518: Afternoon Roadtrip to Grahovsko Jezero (artificial lake), Montenegro ❤️
Last Sunday, we had a visitor at home and so after lunch, we went on a 30-minute drive from our house to Grahovo.
Aside from the beautiful Boka Bay, the mountains, the UNESCO heritage site near us, we can easily go inland and experience different sceneries and vibes.
Ruben Gamintraveler is traveling around Europe on his van and Montenegro is one of his stops. He stayed with us for 2 nights before he continued on his road trip.
We went to Grahovsko Jezero (Lake Grahovo) and fun fact - the bottom of the lake is mostly dolomite-based. It’s a rainy day but Ruben was still able to fly his drone and got beautiful shots!
After that, we went to a local restaurant for his welcome dinner wherein we tried veal that is cooked in a local way aside from homemade bread and fresh sopska (salad with cheese!).
The next day, we brought him with us for an afternoon sail on our friend’s sailboat! Photos later
