Expat Life in Montenegro Day 437: Drove to Podgorica, Montenegro 😍
Last week Jonathan and I drove to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. It’s only a 2-hour drive from our house, but we only go there for the Embassy or to catch our international flights. We had to go this time to bring our motorbike to the BMW service center, had to put the bike in the van while Jonathan drove our car.
Never stayed longer than a few hours, and it’s our first time to stay overnight. We met up with Ate Grieza and Darryl since they also have a house there. We ended up staying overnight at their home, and they showed us around town, had lunch and drinks, and even brought us to the Lake Skadar viewpoint.
We had Asian food for lunch (there’s no Asian restaurant in Herceg Novi) and went shopping for some stuff at home and camping gear as we plan to go on more nature trips. 😬
Then on the way home, we visited Christine’s home to grab some ampalaya and sayote so I can start cooking more Pinoy food! Haha 😬
