Kach Solo Travels Day 20: Day Trip to one of the popular cities in Transylvania, BRASOV!
Every local friends and readers that I met who’ve been to Romania told me that I should go Brasov and Dracula’s castle in Bran but it’s quite far from each other so I decided to go to Brasov and it’s totally worth it. 👍💋
For me to reach this medieval town, I had to use a ridesharing app called Blablacar where you can request a seat from a private car and just pay between 5 to 10 Euro per ride. I left Bucharest early morning and arrived in the City center and took the bus ride (worth 50 cents) to the Old Town center! 🚌
I spent my day trip walking around the old Town Square Hall and a ride to the cable car to reach the viewpoint ( I paid around 4 Euro for a return ride!) ❤️ It’s a very touristic town with a lot of tour groups visiting around midday so if you don’t want to pay a lot of money then I suggest you leave Bucharest early morning by ridesharing car (less than 3 hours) or train which would take you 4 hours or so! It’s a really safe place for solo travelers and it will be easy for you to navigate because most of Romanians speak English and are very helpful! ❤️ Weather is great too as it’s Autumn now so not very hot/cold and I was able to wear my dress and sandals! ✔️
As much as I want to spend more time in this beautiful city, I had to return back to Bucharest and spend another night hanging out with Ada, Mada, and Max! We went to a cool garden hang out ❤️ Ha, I was supposed to be here for 4 days and here I am now on my 6th day and still don’t want to leave 🤪
Thanks to Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest (Check the Latest Room Rates Here) for hosting me here the last 6 days! ❤️
