Liveaboard Life Day 257: Day Trip to Cabarete + Monkey Jungle Adventures 🐒

Had a really good sleep at the Garden By The Sea Bed & Breakfast. Nikki (the owner) is hosting us here and gave us two beautiful pool side room for our 2-night staycation with Jo (Jonathan's sister) and Marios here in Sosua.😍

There are a lot of beautiful beaches in Sosua and just a short drive away is the Monkey Jungle where we went yesterday.. Jo & Marios went ziplining - there were 7 long lines and a cave drop then quick tour to the Monkey sanctuary (mostly rescued local monkeys) which I think they really enjoyed! Jonathan and I decided not do it since we've done a lot of these things before.. my adrenaline rush kind of thing is more extreme now! hahaha😂

So, we drove to Cabarete town where it's popular for Kitesurfing and night life! We went there for lunch and to just swim by the beach but I found out I could do a tandem kitesurf with a professional! The instructor from Liquid Blue Cabarete, Jeuri, was already teaching me and we were already preparing the gear (I was already wearing the harness etc) when the wind change and not enough for us to fly 😢 So, hopefully we could come back for me to do it.. this is my kind of exciting stuff nowadays! hahaha 😂

Well, we ended up hanging out at the popular Mojitos bar and drunk 3 mojitos each during the happy hour then drove back to our hotel to continue drinking! Joanne and I shared almost 2 bottles of wine! hahaha! 😂

I think I'll do a booze detox but hey I was still able to wake up at 6:30 this morning to catch up with my online work and coaching client while enjoying the breakfast that Eliza from the hotel prepared for me😂
