Funny that I asked my sister (and her boyfriend) to join me on some of my city stops so I’ll have a photographer but I ended up becoming their photographer but it’s Krista’s first Europe trip so great to have best photos of her! Haha 🤪

This is my second visit to Montenegro but last year we went during winter time and now the weather is around 32 to 34 deg. celsius so it’s been great for outdoor activities ❤️

For Philippines passport like me, you can enter Montenegro visa-free if you have the USA, Schengen or UK visa! But if you have a UAE residency then it’s visa-free for 30 days too (I’ve learned it from a Dubai-based friend, thanks Cons!) 😎

Herceg Novi is really convenient to get into because you can fly directly to Tivat airport or fly to Dubrovnik, Croatia and take the bus for an hour! ✈️🚌

We arrived on Tuesday night and spent the whole Wednesday outside.. we started early morning to meet our old friends (previous host), Ilja and Natasha of Montenegro outdoors on their sailboat and we motor-sailed to the Peninsula in the Bay of Kotor where we were picked up by Dalibor (the Herceg Novi tourism officer who arranged our visit) to go on an Olive Farm tour of the MORIC family! With feeding the donkeys, had special doughnuts (yep not donuts!), a trip to their small olive oil factory, visiting their house in the small village to eat a freshly home-cooked breakfast was really great morning experience. Then we went on an ATV ride to the viewpoint and we also visited different beaches until after lunch time😍

After that Ilija and Natasha picked us up for an afternoon sailing, swimming and a little bit of snorkeling! We shared a bottle of wine and as always they prepared yummy snacks for us! ⛵️ I’ll post another set of photos for that! Haha ⭐️

We returned to our hotel after 6pm where we just quickly prepared ourselves to go to our dinner at Gradska Kafana Herceg Novi (one of the best in town!) - Krista and I had T-bone steaks while Kees had a delicious shrimp meal! 🤪 After that, we attended a mini-performance prior to the Opera Festival on August 24-25! ❤️ They performed Opera with mixed electronic music! That was actually cool for me! 🤗

We returned to our Master 5 Apartments (Check the Latest Room Rates Here)hotel room by almost midnight and I spent an hour preparing these photos! Hahaha 😂 Have to wake up early tomorrow to go PARAGLIDING!! ❤️
