Life On The Road Day 20: We arrived in Frankfurt, Germany!

I know I promised to do my daily blog but so left behind... I just looked very chilled but moving our whole life from one continent to another with two cats is actually pretty hard! hahaha! Have you guys experienced relocating with your pets? Share your experiences below! 😃😃

Anyway, after our arrival in Frankfurt airport at 5:30am.. we were already done with the immigration and customs by 7am! It was quicker than I imagined.. we immediately went to the car rental and contacted the owner of the apartment we’re renting for the next 6 days if we could check in early and they were happy to do it without charging us more! 🙏🏽 Passed by a small grocery store to grab some food for the next few days.. so happy that veggies and fresh produce are cheaper here than the USA!!! 👌👌

We have a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment while we’re here and the cats are already happy running around and watching the birds from the window.. they are not yet allowed to go outside.. maybe in the future if we already have our own house & small olive farm 😂

Jonathan and I agreed to do all the shopping today because he’s flying to London tomorrow (and leaving me with the cats) to get the car that we bought there.. we couldn’t buy a car in Montenegro since we’ll still be processing our residency and we need a car now to drive there! 🥳

We went to Real Supermarket (like their Walmart) to buy appliances and stuff for the house then to a Super Pet store to buy few months of food supply for the two cats then to IKEA for our beddings and towels! Where we will live in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, they don’t have big supermarkets like here so it’s better for us to purchase most things before arriving 😆

Now, I can get back to online work while Jonathan should relax today as it’s going to be a long drive for him from UK to Germany via France then our road trip to Montenegro via Croatia next week.. and of course Captain Ahab & Little Zissou can just do whatever they want! Will just enjoy the journey now that the big tasks are over💋💋💋
