Life On The Road Day 186: We finally arrived in BHUTAN - the happiest country in the world and my country # 137!🥰

After traveling since Saturday from our home in Montenegro to London then Bangladesh via Qatar.. we finally arrived in BHUTAN - the happiest country in the world and my country # 137!🥰

Long journey and so surprised when our room is upgraded to a corner suite in Le Meridien Paro, Riverfront ❤️ Then tried all the best local Bhutanese and Indian cuisine at the hotel after our quick swim, jacuzzi and sauna!

This small country is definitely secluded but not left behind! 5-star hotels, fast internet, modern cars but still very traditional, culturally interesting and nature is definitely preserved.

We already went to Tiger’s Nest, National Museum of Bhutan and went to visit a local family.. photos of that tomorrow.

For now, sharing where we are staying, flights photos and our first impression of Bhutan start from the airport to the hotel ✈️
