Kach Solo Travels Day 41: Hello from the Most Serene Republic of San Marino! π
Hello from the Most Serene Republic of San Marino! π
The worldβs oldest country and 3rd smallest in Europe (I already read this!) π
Itβs sorrounded by Italy and they donβt have airport or even train station so I had to go to Rimini train station and take the bus from there. π
It took me 10 hours of traveling yesterday to reach here from Piran, Slovenia - one taxi from Piran to Trieste, 4 train changes (I got lost because the trains were always delayed, I was missing the connection and I donβt understand Italian. Haha π) then I took a regional train to Rimini then super happy to catch the very last bus to San Marino (I was very lucky!!!) β€οΈ
I didnβt know itβs going to be a crazy hike up to my hotel because itβs only a walking path area inside the Castle wall so I was dragging my 20 kgs bags with me up the hill... that was a good exercise at 8pm!Hahaha π π
All the effort to reach my country 114th is all worth it.. this is the balcony view this sunrise from La Grotta Hotel (Check the Latest Room Rates Here) overlooking the Apennine Mountains π
P.S. Really glad I have Eurail pass because I can take any trains for the whole month without the need to pay for anything. Great news to all of our readers... Here's a 15% discount deal for Eurail Pass if you're traveling as a couple/ group --> http://bit.ly/2MonkeysEURAIL
