Kach Solo Travels in 2021: Hello from my country 146 - SENEGAL!
The perks of having genuine friends all over the world! From being "adventurous" in Mauritania to something "more chilled and yayamanin" in Senegal. I'm currently catching up with my good friend Gladsy, who I met in 2017 when I went to Djibouti. She let me stay at her apartment (with her hubby), helped me get cleared at the immigration, and showed me around. She even let me borrow her clothes because my luggage went missing at that time! πππ½
During that time, Gladsy also helped me get a visa to Somaliland and dropped me at the taxi stand near there! She worked with me before she had her baby and is a fantastic writer (you should check her blog.) After four years of not seeing each other, it just feels like we were hanging out yesterday. β€οΈ
We head to my first stop - KFC, which I havenβt tried for almost a year or more! Haha
Thanks, Roman Pl and Gladsy of The French Adobo for hosting me this week in your gorgeous 4-bedroom apartment. It feels like I'm staying in a hotel with my own bathtub, swimming pool, and gym. Plus, I get to be playing with their sweet little girl!!
P.S. Filipinos can get a visa on arrival in Senegal. No need to apply for a visa online or at any Embassy; you can get one at the airport.
Life is getting better and better for me, and I'm so grateful to have a deep friendship like this.π₯°ππ½
