Sailing Life Day 45: Time to move on! Leaving South Side Marina in Provo to continue our sailing journey.. Next Stop: Overnight in Caicos Bank!
Everyone, please meet Bob, the nice owner of this Marina who is incredibly helpful for us while we’re here! Had inspiring advise as well to us and shared his story how he started building this place and his younger years when he was nomadic like us on his 20s and started taking life seriously on his 30s! We’re getting close to that stage of our life when we’re starting to look long-term and stability but of course will always be grateful for our four years of Nomadic life and now starting with our live-aboard life (still traveling but with our home!)! 🤩
We refilled our fuel tank and our jerry containers, we now have 60 gallons of diesel on board but still hoping that we’ll mostly sail rather than motoring since we’re a sailboat! Haha 🤣 Prepared everything before our afternoon departure during high tide, we draw 6 ft and have to be careful getting out of the channel! Ah, time to go. I’ll miss the hot shower that I used twice a day! Haha 🤪
Let’s see about the next part of this adventure, I pre-scheduled this post before we left the marina and most probably we’re already underway on our 3 to 4-day passage to Luperon, the Dominican Republic when you’ll read this! Yay! ⛵️🙏
Appreciate all the prayers. God bless us all ❤️
