Life On The Road Day 17: Last day in Toronto and visited Little Italy, Kensington Market and a Spa Treatment at Aum Ayurvedic & Thai Massage
I only have 3 nights for my first trip to Canada since we’re flying back to Europe and only a quick detour for me.. I know I will come back again but it will be Jonathan so we could go on a roadtrip 👌
Finally on my last full day, the rain stopped and I was able to walk around Toronto! Met up with some friends and had an incredible last day in this beautiful city.
I’ve met up with Phil for lunch.. he used to work for a brand who was also working with us on different blog campaigns... that was in 2016! We had a great lunch at this Japanese restaurant in College Street! There’s actually a lot of restos, cafe and small store in that street so perfect for tourist like me!
After that, I’ve met up with Ying... Jonathan and I’s long time friend! She was our Yoga Teacher’s training classmate in India in 2014..those were the days when Jon and I weren’t bloggers yet and still learning different skills like becoming Ayurveda Massage therapists and yoga teachers so we could support ourselves financially to travel around the world.. 5 years later, we’re just getting back to the big dream!
Anyway, Ying already have her spa business set up in Toronto! If you’re from there and curious about the healing therapy of Ayurveda... you should go and check her place out! So proud of my friend and making me more motivated because it feels like we’re really on the right track on one our our long-term goals - have a small property to turn to an Ayurveda & Yoga retreat resort (If you followed our blog since 2014 then you’d know I always talked about it.. and now it’s the time!!)
After my Ayurveda session with Ying, I met her other friends and we walked to Kensington Market then to Chinatown until we returned to my gorgeous hotel, Hotel X Toronto by Library Hotel Collection for the wine & cheese which is very popular for the Library Hotel Collection brand! 😍
Always grateful to have friends in most cities where I visit and hope one day they will come to visit us when we finally have our home (and by that time, I will be a good homemaker and cook!!) hahaha ! 🙏🏽❤️
