Kach Solo Travels in 2019: Hello from KYRGYZSTAN, my 128th country!
Two days ago I arrived in the city of Osh, south of Kyrgyzstan which was a 420 km drive from Murghab, our last stop in Tajikistan.
After 9 different checkpoints along the Pamir Highway.. we only had to cross the immigration border control. We had to cross one of the highest passes in Central Asia to reach that point. There was traffic at the border so we had to wait for almost an hour followed by a quick drive to the border control forKyrgyzstan.
For Filipinos, we can easily get an e-visa for Kyrgyzstan! I applied online and paid $35 for a 2-entry visa because I initially thought Iβd do the Kyrg-Tajik-Kyrg route. Itβs even cheaper for a single entry and itβs easy to get online! πThe Kyrg immigration police are really nice too.
After the border control, there were 2 high altitude road passes before we started driving down to the city of Osh! π
I know I canβt do real-time post updates as I really try to enjoy the trip and work/post later the day.. so I might be two days behind in sharing guys and I also have a lot of photos to still share from our Pamir Highway trip in Tajikistan. π
I have one week here for a road trip to Bishkek (North) and nearby towns with Destination Pamir. Erali who used to be a tour guide started his own tour agency and heβs only 28 years old trying to make a better life for his daughter. Will talk more later ππ½ππ
