Life On The Road Day 15: Arrived in Toronto, Canada.. 125th country that I visited!

I left my husband and the two cats at my uncle’s house in New Jersey at 6am to catch my flight from Newark airport to Toronto, Canada.. it was a quick flight! Arrived and of course there’s an immigration process and they were pretty nice.. I was out within 15 minutes from leaving the airplane to clearing the immigration! 🤪

My Ninong & Ninang (Godparents from Baptism and also my Mom’s uncle) have been living here since 1998 and finally met them again and now their kids are all teenagers & adult.🤣 They picked me up at the airport and then drove to CN Tower.. my cousins and I went on the top for me to see the whole skyline view of Toronto. My ninong drove to different streets in town to show me around and even brought me to an Asian buffet for lunch as I asked him for Filipino food and dumplings..Haha 😬

We went to the mall and they got me this cool ROOTS sweater and my cousins let me try a proper milktea (it’s my first time!!) and now I know why the youngster nowadaysa are addicted to it but that’s too expensive for tea! haha 🤣

Then we went to another relatives’ house for Mother’s day celebration dinner and Tita Eva cooked a lot of Pinoy food!! She has a cool business called HOME BASE Creations (check on fb) and the earnings are being donated and sent to kids and families in San Pablo City, Laguna where we all are from. I left my Tita’s house with new accessories with palabok, chicken, bbq, mango ensalada and fruit salad! Hahaha 🤪🤪

My day didn’t end there because my cousins (Dale & Gracielle) arranged for us to go on a last full movie show to watch The Hustle by Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson since Gracielle is the Manager of the Cinema house so got it comped with free popcorn too! 😬

They drove me to my hotel - Hotel X Toronto by Library Hotel Collection around midnight where I wrapped up my amazing first day in Toronto with a hot bathtub on my one bedroom suite!

What a great day experiencing most of these things all in one day!! ❤️Grateful for all the blessings!! 😍
