I'm in Morocco to run my first group tour with Two Monkeys Tours & Immigration Services Ltd.. I'm so gutted as I was supposed to lead 20 people; however, some rescheduled to our November 2021 trip. So now we'll have a private tour for 5 people! Really excited for everyone!

I literally just met Ate Jannet last Monday; she has already cooked Paksiw na Isda, made Gin & Tonic, and prepared a fruit smoothie (all for me)! We also finished a bottle of Rose together!

A haven of calm in hectic Dakar, Ngor Island is where you can see the most pleasing architecture in Dakar. Isle de Ngor can be easily accessed with a skiff boat. If you love the beach, inexpensive food, and surfing, then you should add Ngor Island to your list when you visit Senegal.

We toured around the city of Nouakchott, the capital, and got a Free PCR test. Then we had lunch at Terjit Vacances restaurant located on a lovely beach where I had fresh dorado fish for lunch.

After a 12-hour iron ore train ride, we headed immediately to Banc D'Arguin National Park. With a trip filled with a lot of dust, one shower isn’t enough; so we swam and let the Atlantic Ocean do its magic. Swim, relax, repeat - that was our mantra.

Aside from historical towns, Mauritania is also the home of the longest and heaviest train in the world. The Train du Desert in Mauritania is 2km long and consists of 200 carriages. There's no conductor, no tickets, no CR, no rooms, no charging station, and no fixed schedule.

The ancient ksour (fortified village) of Ouadane in Mauritania has been tagged as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. The first things you will notice are piles of stone and rubble! Unlike Chinguetti, there's still a lot you can see and feel from the ruins of Ouadane.

We've spent our second night in Chinguetti and stayed in one of the guesthouses called L'EDEN. This guesthouse has been open since 2005 and remains a highly recommendable guesthouse by local guides.

Chinguetti is a jewel of Berber culture. This ancient African town once became a stopover for trade caravans and pilgrims in the Sahara Desert.

We visited Terjit, an Oasis or a spot where you can find water located in the heart of the Mauritanian Sahara Desert. We enjoyed swimming at the natural pool, which is good for me since I don't have a chance to take a shower for 2 days. Haha!

It’s Day 1 of this trip and I’m traveling with other extreme travelers who are collecting passport stamps and aiming to travel to every country in the world just like I do.

Last Monday, my “new” friend Juliana and I flew to Belgrade for a business meeting then to see my therapist, dentist, dermatologist, and visit my second mom here in Belgrade. Aside from hanging out with old and new friends here! 😍
